An AI-assisted desktop production workspace built for ebook agencies. It brings multi-book management, manuscript editing, outlining, content generation, cover creation, and KDP-ready exports into one focused application.
TeBre was designed for ebook agencies that deliver services such as content writing, proofreading, editing, book design, and publishing preparation. Its purpose is to reduce the time needed to move a book from an early manuscript to a delivery-ready file.
The software remains useful without AI: teams can create and manage multiple books, organize chapters and outlines, write in a full rich-text manuscript editor, search content, add images, and export finished work. Users can optionally add their own OpenAI , Gemini , or Claude API key; at least one provider key is required only when they want to use the AI tools.
AI is integrated directly into the production workflow. A complete chapter or selected passage can be polished in place, outlines can be written manually or generated, the writing assistant can create and revise content in different styles, and GPT Image 2 can generate book covers. The finished manuscript can then be prepared and exported for Amazon KDP as DOCX, PDF, or EPUB.
Technology Stack
TeBre uses React for the desktop interface, Electron and Node.js for the native application layer and file workflows, and SQLite for local book and manuscript data. User-provided OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude credentials unlock provider-dependent AI writing and polishing, while GPT Image 2 powers cover generation.
